NPC trains field personnel for trial census ahead of 2023 population census

 

The National Population Commission (NPC) has commenced training workshop for field personnel to be engaged for the Trial Census in Lagos.

The 12-day training, holding at NPC Lagos State Office in Surulere, will equip field functionaries with the required skills to effectively and efficiently deliver on the exercise.

A total of 104 field personnel, consisting of facilitators, supervisors and enumerators drawn mainly from communities within the selected areas have been carefully selected for the Trial Census through an online recruitment process.

The Trial census is to be conducted between July 11 and 24.

The Trial Census, which is a dress rehearsal, will evaluate all aspects of the census operations before the main census on a limited scale.
