Movie star and former WWE wrestler, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for
2016.
The magazine annually announces a ‘Sexiest Man Alive.’
Previous winner of the prestigious title include David Beckham (2015), Chris Hemsworth (2014), Adam Levine (2013), Channing Tatum (2012), Bradley Cooper (2011) and Ryan Reynolds (2010).
Speaking to the media, Johnson said he was surprised and flatter to receive the call that he had been named the Seciest Man Alive.
“…[sic] I said, ‘That’s awesome…And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is…And then I thought, ‘Wow, we’ve pretty much reached the pinnacle.’ I’m not quite too sure where we go from here. I’ve done it all, this is it,” he said.
When asked what he thinks makes a man sexy, Johnson said a sense of humour is a plays a big role, as well as being confident.
“…[sic] I think probably just not trying to be sexy and just being cool and confident in your movies,” he said.
Johnson stars in Disney’s new animated film, Moana, that opens in theatres on November 23rd.
