Another case of COVID-19 has been recorded at the Lagos seaport.

The latest case is an employee member of the APM Terminals, Apapa.

According to a statement by the General Manager, External Relations, APMT, Daniel Odibe, the employee developed malaria symptoms and was referred to a hospital where he was initially treated before he was referred to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control for further test.

It read in part, “We were informed on April 27 that the test result came out positive.

“The case is currently being handled by the NCDC while we continue with our precautionary and response plans in strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocol.”
