I Stole Uniform from A Military Barrack & Stole AK-49 Gun from NSCDC Officer- Suspect Narrates.

Officers of the Nasarawa state police command recently paraded some apprehended suspects that were arrested in connection to various crimes. One of the paraded suspects is a fake military officer who escaped to Jos after robbing his uncle.

According to a report by TVC News, the suspect is an indigene of Plateau State, and his parents reside in the village. It was learned that the suspect dropped out of school due to financial challenges. The suspect allegedly stole his uncle's camouflage uniform before relocating to Jos, where he started his nefarious activities. The suspect's uncle is reportedly a military officer in Borno State.



Furthermore, the suspect allegedly stole an Ak-49 rifle, and two magazines from an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Jos.

The suspect was apprehended after he relocated to Nasarawa state, where he carried out illicit activities in some towns. The suspected fake military officer was eventually apprehended in the Lafia area in a black vehicle. The military camouflage and Ak-49 rifle were found in his possession.


Speaking during the parade, the Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa State, Adesina Soyemi, said, "Investigation revealed that the suspect who parades himself as a military officer was in camouflage, was never enlisted into the army. He got the uniform from military personnel serving in Borno State, and thereafter moved to Jos while disguising as military personnel and went away with an AK-49 rifle and two magazines."

Confessing his crime, the suspect said, "I stole the uniform from a military barrack in Borno State and escaped to Jos.
