EgyptAir: Last Remains Recovered

The last remains of the doomed EgyptAir flight 804 has reportedly been recovered by
the various investigation teams.
According to the Egyptian Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee – that was in charge of sifting through the wreckage for remains as well as the black boxes – the search vessel John Lethbridge, had successfully recovered all human remains that were mapped across the crash site.
The much sought after black boxes have also been found with flight data still intact.
EgyptAir flight 804 crashed into the Mediterranean on May 19th. There were a total of 66 people on board.
The committee also said that after the vessel had returned all the remains to Alexandria. It will return to the crash site to do another search for human remains on the seabed.
The recovered human remains will reportedly also be sent to forensic investigators in Cairo for thorough DNA analysis.
Along with the analysing of the human remains, investigators have also started to analyse the black boxes which they recovered from the wreckage.
The investigating committee said that the voice recorders of the black boxes were intact, and that investigators will be able to access them.
The other black box – which has been analysed by investigators over the past week – showed that there was smoke detected on the plane before it crashed and that there were also signs of fire. Smoke alarms were confirmed to have been activated as well.
Until all the data has been analysed, there can be no official cause for the crash of the aircraft.
