Kompany Out For a Few Weeks Due To Injury

Manchester City star, Vincent Kompany, has been ruled out yet again for a few weeks, following a new
injury.
Kompany suffered a concussion on Saturday during Manchester City’s game against Crystal Palace. Subsequently, he was not included in the Man City squad for the upcoming Champions League game against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday.
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said that Kompany has suffered a new knee injury.
The latest injury comes just after Kompany returned to training and the Manchester City team after being off for four months following a string of injuries, including undergoing groin and thigh surgery.
“…He has a problem with his knee. He could be out for weeks. He’s sad and I’m sad. It’s a long time he doesn’t play,” Guardiola said.
Guardiola continued and said that Kompany is, however, in good hands:
“…He is in the best hands so he can recover as soon as possible. He will make the best treatment possible. The doctor told me a few weeks (that Kompany will be out). We’ll see. It is ligaments,” he said.
